The constant CalTrans improvements to the bay bridge approach means the SOMA is perpetually under construction. At one point on Brannan street, an offramp makes a huge, sweeping turn through the building. I happened to have my camera at lunch and snapped this shot.
Deep in the lower haight, we used to have to wash our clothes at this little throwback laundrymat on the corner of Haight and Pierce. The best part was the fiberglass seats from the 70′s, often filled with the homeless taking a nap.
